Vacuum and inert gas crimping station model CR-8000 :
The CR-8000 crimping robot is designed for high-end pharmaceutical applications, including aseptic vial filling under controlled atmosphere conditions. It enables vials of all sizes (02R to 50R) to be stoppered and crimped under vacuum and inert gas with perfectly reproducible, smooth manner.
Two vibrating bowls supply caps and stoppers. The system features two dedicated trays :
A positioning cone places each vial in the vacuum and/or inert gas preparation area. A multi-purpose tool attached to the end of the robotic arm grasps the cap and then the stopper, and proceeds to plug the vial by first creating a vacuum and filling that vacuum with an inert gas, and then placing the stopper before crimping.
A specific software program controls all sequences and manages the formulae (with or without cap and stopper placing, with or without vacuum and inert gas replacement etc.), making the system fully configurable for aseptic vial filling processes.
The program includes three access levels for managing user rights : Operator, Maintenance, and Engineer.
